You can use this website to special order manga, light novels, and other titles for local pickup at Doki Doki Kawaii Shop in Lakewood, Ohio! This catalog lists manga and light novel titles that have been in print or are available for preorder. This catalog is NOT a list of in-stock books at our shop. It’s intended for you to be able to special order titles that aren’t in stock at our shop when you were looking for it, or to preorder upcoming titles in advance. You can search this catalog by title, author, and publisher!

Please note that it’s possible that titles found in our catalog are no longer in print or are back-ordered by the publisher. Back-ordered books unfortunately are not given a timeline of when they will be reprinted so we ask for your patience and understanding once we place orders for you.
Out of print books are not possible for us to order. Once we discover a book is out of print, we will notify you, cancel your order, and remove the title from the catalog.
What Happens When You Place a Special Order or Preorder
Placing a special order allows us to order and reserve titles for you to pick up at your convenience. You’ll add any books to special order to a cart and submit it to us! You do not pay in advance, you only pay at pickup! You’ll be notified via email as soon as your special order is ready for pickup! It’s a fantastic way to get exactly the books you want even if they aren’t in store. This is especially helpful for preorders, as you’ll get them as soon as they are released! You’ll also be able to see your list of orders from your Account page as well as the status of your orders! You are also welcome to call or email us for a status update!
Shipping is not available for special orders. Local pickup only. You pay at pickup only, not in advance!
Hold Period
Once you’ve been notified that your special order is ready for pickup, we will hold it for 2 weeks. You can request an extension by calling or emailing us. Please note if you fail to pick up special orders multiple times, you will lose the ability to special order books in the future.
Request Titles Not in Our Catalog
Can’t find the title you’re looking for? No problem! Submit a custom book order and we’ll do our best to hunt it down for you. You’ll be notified via email if we are able to order it for you and when it arrives for pickup! Please note that we cannot order books that are out of print or in Japanese language.
