Hiro Mashima is returning with a new series at the peak of his popularity. He attended New York Comic Con in October 2017 to sold-out crowds of thousands at the Javits Center, the Japan Society, and Kinokuniya bookstore.
Kodansha is betting on Edens Zero as a new flagship shonen adventure series (and a major anime adaptation, while not confirmed, is probably inevitable).
